Oulton Water Colour Society was estabilished over 50 years ago, by Doris Brown SWA and after many years Doris has decided to retire . Aided by Steve Rowley and Jim Rowley (not related), she offered inspiration/encoragement to club members every week. Steve has taken up the gaunlet and is now decided to become our Tutor. As to the club itself, members have the oportunity to be guided on mainly watercolour painting, but also a wider range of medium i.e pastels, oils, acrilics etc. Some members have been with the club for the 50 years and some have only just found there talent. Doris used to do demonstartions but being partialy sighted, we now invite other artists to the club who demonstrate either watercolour painting, oils, acrylics or pastels.

The Membership fee is £40 per term and we have 2 terms per year. Febuary - July, Sept - December
